Q. Where do you get your ideas?
A. I get my ideas from lots of different places; people watching, the news paper, my own life, and, in the case of GRACE HAPPENS, a bumper sticker.

Q. Will there be a sequel to GRACE HAPPENS? I want to know what happens to her next.
A. At this point there are no plans to publish another book about Grace Meredith.

Q. What advice do you have for people who want to be writers?
A. READ, READ, READ! The best way to be a good writer is to read and read some more.

Q. You've written fiction and non fiction and picture books and a novel. What kind of books do you like to write best?
A. I enjoyed writing each of my books but I like writing novels best. It's fun getting to know the characters and how they react to the events in the book. I like learning how they grow and change and solve their problems.

Q. Do you always know what is going to happen next when you are working on a novel?
A. No, I am surprised by my characters almost every day. They can and often do take the story in a different direction than I thought it was going.
